Around 1,000 visitors and glorious autumn weather made the Genusstour Hiking Day in the Spa Region of Bad Waltersdorf a resounding success. The event in Styria’s Spa & Volcano Region invited guests to actively explore the landscape around Bad Waltersdorf and discover the culinary specialties of the region.
Hiking and Discovering Regional Specialties
The approximately twelve-kilometer route led through the idyllic rolling countryside and offered varied glimpses into the region’s natural beauty. Along the way, 25 stations—including 14 culinary stops—provided delicious variety. Regional products, Styrian Schmankerl (regional delicacies), and musical entertainment made the hike a truly special experience.
