Bad Waltersdorf is becoming a meeting place for the next generation of tennis. From fall 2026 to fall 2027, numerous national and international tennis competitions will take place at the Leisure & Sports Activity Park Bad Waltersdorf. Young players from various countries will compete on the tennis courts in the 2-Thermenregion Bad Waltersdorf.
Under the motto “Tennis meets Future,” a total of 22 tennis events are on the program. Matches will be played in the age categories U12, U14, U16, and U18 – for both women and men. The event program ranges from Tennis Europe tournaments to ITF Juniors competitions and Austrian championships and international junior tournaments.
Tennis at an International Level
Particularly exciting: Some of the tournaments are part of the Tennis Europe and ITF Juniors tournament series. This gives Bad Waltersdorf the opportunity to offer young talents a professional stage and guests the chance to experience high-level junior tennis live.
Depending on the season, the tournaments will take place indoors or outdoors. The program includes:
- Tennis Europe U12, U14, and U16
- ITF Juniors J30, J60, and J100
- ÖTV Championships and Youth Competitions
- ÖTV Indoor Championships
- international junior tournaments for women and men
The series kicks off from October 24 to November 1, 2026 with a Tennis Europe U14/U16 tournament in Bad Waltersdorf. Further international competitions will follow until October 2027.
