From September 4 to 6, 2026, Bad Waltersdorf will become Austria’s folk music capital. The occasion is the grand EDLSEER Thermenfestival, where frontman Fritz Kristoferitsch celebrates his 50th birthday while presenting the new album “Herzenssache”.
Over three days, visitors can expect a diverse program with four major events and around 10,000 guests. Musical highlights include performances by EDLSEER, Die Stoakogler, Zellberg Buam, Kastelruther Spatzen and Semino Rossi.
The festival makes a special statement with a major charity campaign under the motto “Raffle for a Good Cause”. Prizes include a Harley-Davidson, a restored Puch motorcycle and the original racing bike of ultracyclist Thomas Mauerhofer. All proceeds will benefit the Harley-Davidson Charity Tour, regional donation projects of the Puch Clubs and the Styrian Children’s Cancer Aid.
The festival concludes on Sunday with the traditional 30th EDLSEER Fan Hiking Day featuring music, culinary delights and the grand charity raffle. The EDLSEER Thermenfestival 2026 promises a weekend full of music, community and lived solidarity.
