Looking for exercise, community, and a great atmosphere? Then head to the ORF Radio Steiermark Run in Bad Waltersdorf on April 18, 2026!
For the 21st time, amateur and ambitious runners, walkers & Nordic walkers will experience a true running festival in the heart of the thermal region.
Start and finish are in the town center of Bad Waltersdorf, the course is AIMS measured and equally suitable for beginners and professionals. The selectable distances are 4.2 km / 8.4 km / 12.6 km as well as the half marathon (21.1 km) – plus Kids Runs (200 m, 800 m, 1,600 m) and a separate Nordic Walk/SmoveyWalk over 4.2 km.
The children’s program begins at 11:30 AM, followed by the main event at 1:00 PM—afterwards, the award ceremony and running festival at the village square invite you to celebrate. The entry fee includes a finisher medal, refreshment stations along the route, and free evening admission to the Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf for all participants.
TIP: The ORF Run is considered one of the most beautiful runs in Styria’s Thermal & Volcanic Land and is part of the Thermal Run Cup.
